The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has urged the Federal High Court in Lagos to dismiss an application filed by former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, seeking to stop the confiscation of assets linked to it. On August 25, 2024, the court granted the EFCC temporary control over $2.045.

Call to identify people likely to commit protest crimes

Police arrest four theft suspects, recover stolen vehicle in Nasarawa

The Nasarawa State Police Command said its personnel had arrested four suspected armed robbers and recovered a stolen vehicle. This was contained in a statement by the police public relations officer of the command, DSP Ramhan Nansel. According to the statement, the suspects, Salim Hussaini, Abdulkadir Musa and Dimas Danja, were arrested by operatives attached.
