Local police, state and federal agents arrest 6 people in Lewiston

Six people were arrested Tuesday following search warrants issued at two locations in Lewiston. LEWISTON — Local police and state and federal agents executed two search warrants Tuesday morning at two locations, leading to six arrests, according to a Facebook post from the Lewiston Police Department.

Lewiston police, along with agents from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, executed a search warrant at 117 College St. around 5 a.m. morning Tuesday. Five people were arrested and illegal drugs seized, the message said. They are:

• Billy-Jack Curtis, 50, of Lewiston, arrested on several warrants, including burglary.

• Harold Machenry, 23, of Lewiston, was charged with refusal to submit to custody and unlawful possession of Schedule W drugs.

• Zacheriah Laurinaitis, 33, of Lewiston, charged with violation of conditions of release.

• Mara Clawson, 35, of Monson, charged with violating conditions of release.

• Jessica Dall, 40, of Bath, charged with violating conditions of release.

Officers executed a second search warrant around 10 a.m. at 50 Fairmount St., leading to the arrest of Erika Hines, 34, of Lewiston. Police discovered 32 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of fentanyl and 10 oxycodone pills. Lewiston Police Lt. Derrick St. Laurent said the street value of the drugs was about $7,500.

All six were being held at the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn.
