Cedarburg armed robbery at Hefner’s Custard; wanted suspect

CEDARBRUG, Wis. – The Cedarburg Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery. It happened at Hefner’s Custard on Columbia Road around 5:20 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1.

Police said the business was not open to customers at the time of the theft. The victim of the theft was identified as a 50-year-old contractor who handled the company’s food equipment.

He was not physically injured, but cash was confiscated.

The suspect is described as a black man, wearing all black clothing and a black and white patterned mask.

The suspect pointed a gun at the victim, police said.
