2 people arrested and charged with trafficking underage girls in Oklahoma

A human trafficking investigation resulted in two arrests in Oklahoma on Tuesday, authorities said.

The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics said the Human Trafficking Unit arrested Tony Ray Polly and Latavia Sharay Robins at an Oklahoma City apartment.

They are accused of trafficking two minor girls.

“The OBN investigation confirmed evidence that Polly and Robins would post advertisements featuring the minors on commercial sex websites and arrange meetings with the clients and these young victims at a subway apartment in the northwest,” said OBN spokesperson Mark Woodward.

Both are in custody and are facing several charges related to human trafficking, OBN says. The victims have been recovered and are receiving assistance.

Citizens and victims can anonymously report suspected human trafficking or find resources on the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics website.
