Arrest made in Milan Walgreens robbery

QUAD CITIES, Ill./Iowa (KWQC) – Milan police said an arrest was made in connection to a robbery at Walgreens, but they offered no more information.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and names will not be released yet, according to a media release.

The Walgreens store was robbed by two masked men just before closing at 10 pm May 12.

They arrived in and left the area in a stolen 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk.

The Jeep was stolen in Moline a few days earlier and was abandoned in the Century Woods apartment complex in Rock Island after the robbery.

Police said that someone might not know about the robbery, but might know who stole the Jeep.
