Davenport man arrested for sexual abuse, child pornography

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – A Davenport man was arrested Thursday for sexual abuse against two boys and forcing them into engaging in child pornography, an arrest report says.

Damon Tedford, 55, was charged with three counts of sexual abuse of the 2nd degree, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of lascivious acts with a child, two counts of possession of depictions of a minor in a sexual act, and two counts of dissemination and exhibition of obscene materials to minors, according to the arrest affidavit.

On July 26, the Davenport Police Department said they began an investigation into inappropriate adult sexual contact with two male minors, whose ages were 11 and 12 at the time of reporting.

Tedford has a preliminary hearing on Friday.
