Four Arrests, Four Guns, One Vehicle Stolen In One Day In South Lake Union

In one day, Seattle police arrested four people, seized four guns on the street and recovered a stolen vehicle.

Around 10:58 p.m. on July 26, Seattle police responded to a trespassing call at a hotel in the 100 block of Boren Avenue North.

When the police arrived, the suspects tried to leave before being spotted.

A 34-year-old suspect, involved in another investigation, tried to flee but was quickly apprehended, police said.

The suspect, who is a felon, was arrested for illegal possession of a weapon, obstruction and drug possession.

A second suspect, a 49-year-old felon, was arrested for driving without a license, illegal possession of a weapon and driving a car without an ignition interlock device.

The third suspect, a 29-year-old gang member, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for domestic violence, possession of a stolen car and a warrant for theft of marijuana.

The final suspect, a 25-year-old gang member, was arrested for obstruction and attempting to conceal stolen car keys.

All were booked into the King County Jail.

During the search, police found two more firearms, narcotics and took possession of the stolen car.

Detectives from the General Crimes Investigation Unit are investigating.
