“Rebuilding our culture”: Harper Murray speaks

THE EIGHT TEAMS. MORE THAN 100 VOLUNTEERS SPENT THEIR SATURDAY GIVING BACK TO THE OMAHA COMMUNITY AT THE HARRISON PHILLIPPS PLAYMAKERS CAMP. THE HUSKERS WERE WELL REPRESENTED, INCLUDING HARPER MURRAY, WHO SPOKE ABOUT HIS VOLUNTEER EFFORTS AND HIS EFFORTS TO REBUILD THE TEAM CULTURE AT LINCOLN. ‘Rebuilding our culture’: Harper Murray looks to refocus as second season approaches

While volunteering in Omaha, Murray spoke on camera for the first time this offseason with KETV.

The Nebraska volleyball player gave an on-camera interview to KETV, her first since Lincoln police said they cited her on April 5 for drunken driving, reckless driving and minor possession, among other accusations.

Then, a few weeks later, Lincoln police said they had officially cited Murray for shoplifting.

When asked about her offseason, Murray said, “We’re rebuilding our culture right now. We’ve been doing a lot of things as a team, spending a lot of time together in the gym and working together in camps.”

“This is the right time to work together and rebuild our culture,” she added.

Murray is scheduled to appear in Lancaster County Court on June 22.
